This is a DX fisheye that provides a very wide field of view. Plus it's a zoom from 10mm to 17mm, how cool is that? Fisheye lenses have always been a lot of fun, but the zoom adds a whole new dimension because it allows you to control the fisheye effect from subtle to strong. This lens will only work on DX camera bodies that have a focusing motor. So in Nikon terms, this is an AF lens for DX cameras. It will not autofocus on camera bodies that require AF-S lenses.
