The Canon EOS RP is an impressive camera in a compact package. It features a high-resolution 26.2MP full frame CMOS sensor and the same DIGIC 8 image processor as the EOS R. The sensor also features a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system , using 4779 selectable on-sensor points. The camera also can work in a variety of lighting conditions with a broad sensitivity range, from ISO 100-40000.
For video, the Canon EOS RP has UHD 4K recording capabilities, and uses Movie Digital IS to minimize camera shake.
The camera is designed with a high res 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and has a rear 3.0" 1.04m-dot LCD touchscreen that swivels.
*This camera is compatible with the Canon R Mount lenses. There is a EF-EOS R Mount adapter designed for attaching any EF or EF-S mount lens to the EOS RP camera.
