How do I return an item?
This policy deals with returning an item because you selected the wrong item, not how to ship an item back at the end of a rental.
Making the mistake of ordering equipment that is not compatible with your camera can happen to anyone, so we try to be fair. Please check the compatibility of the equipment by consulting your owner’s manuals and the manufacturers’ web sites. We will credit your account for unused time on the rental but we will charge for the time the equipment was in your possession, with a minimum charge of 2 days. The daily rate posted on the product page will be used as the rental rate. We don’t include transit time when measuring the time the equipment was in your possession. We don’t provide credit for the actual shipping costs of the package, even if your order received "Free Shipping". After returning the equipment, just place a new order for compatible items. Any credit posted to your account will be automatically applied to your next order.
If the problem is that you don’t think the lens is suitable for your application, then we will still work with you to get something better, but we need to stick with our 5 day minimum charge for rentals. If you want to return the item early, we will credit your account for the rental fees beyond the 5 day minimum. We don't refund shipping charges. A big advantage of renting is to allow you to try lenses without committing to the full purchase price. Sometimes, the value of renting is discovering the item is not a good choice for your application.
