The Nikon TC-20E II AF-S provides a 2.0x increase in focal length. It is designed to be used with Nikkor AF-S and AF-I telephoto lenses.  It's not intended to work with all AF-S lens, only the telephotos. Other lenses physically won't mount on it. With our inventory of lenses, this means that it only works with the Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 ED VR and the Nikkor 300mm AF-S f/4D ED. It reduces the aperture by two stops.

On the 105mm lens, the focal length becomes 210mm, the image is sharp, but the autofocus is not supported.

On the 70-200mm lens, the focal length becomes 140-400mm, the autofocus is supported, and image is very good through the center but a bit of softness creeps into the corners.

On the 300mm lens, the focal length becomes 600mm, the image remains very sharp, but the autofocus is not supported.
