This is the newly redesigned Nikon 24-120mm lens that was introduced in 2010. Be careful if you are reading reviewes about this lens. Nikon produced a 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6 lens in the past that was not a good lens. This is the f/4G version and it is very good. The constant aperture f/4 zoom is predictable to work with and the overall sharpness is very good. This is a fine all-around Nikon camera lens and is a great choice if you only want to bring one lens with you. It works with both FX and DX camera bodies.
