If you’re going to take only one lens with you and you don't want a lot of bulk, this is it. Stop looking, there’s nothing better. OK, it’s not perfect in every way, but it is the best versatility you’ll find in one package. Huge zoom range, vibration reduction II, sharp images, fast focus, good contrast, compact size, and reasonable price. About the only thing missing is a wider aperture.
