This is the FX version of Nikon's fisheye lenses. The image with this lens on an FX camera is very similar to the 10.5mm fisheye on a DX camera.  However, it will work on all full frame Nikon cameras and the DX cameras that have focusing motors. You can let your creativity flow with a fisheye. It has a full 180 degree field of view, it can focus down to about 10 inches, and it’s difficult to get something out of focus. Plus it’s small and inconspicuous. We like to use it for candids at parties and other gatherings because you capture what everyone in the room is doing. The images (albeit distorted) give a feeling of freezing a moment in time because they cover so much and most people have no idea they’re in the shot. Kids love it when you pull this one out.
