Canon makes 5 different 70-200mm lenses. This is the one with the big f/2.8 aperture AND image stabilization. Hands down, this is a great lens for both full-frame and cropped-frame shooters. It is one of the most-professionally-used lenses available and it is one that every photographer should experience. If you’ve never tried it, get one for your next shoot. It works in a great many situations. Everything works with this lens, the image quality, the image stabilization, the fast focus speed, the very pleasing background blur, and the construction is top notch. It is a bit on the large and heavy side, but not objectionable.
