This is Canon's original version 24mm prime, the EF 24mm f/1.4L USM. This is a great choice for people using cropped-sensor cameras. The corners of the images can be a bit soft when the aperture is wide open, but this isn't much of an issue with the smaller sensors because this portion of the image will be cropped out of the photograph. This is a very well built L series lens that feels good and operates smoothly.
