This is Canon's L series 100mm Macro lens with Image Stabilization. The image quality is wonderful and build quality is solid L series. The addition of IS is a great improvement for walking around because it greatly reduces the need for a tripod. There is a touch of softness in the corners at f2.8, but still excellent quality.
