This Nikon 60mm macro lens will focus down to 7 inches with a reproduction ratio of 1:1, which is great if your creating catalog images of small products. You probably don't want the object to be just 7 inches from the lens when taking nature shots because you're so close that you can get in the way of the light. It's also a good choice if your primary need is a neutral focal length lens and your secondary need is macro capability.
