T Smart Adapter Mark IV for Canon EF or EF-S mount to Sony E-mount Camera

This adapter allows Canon lenses to be mounted on Sony E-mount cameras such as the Sony a7S. Electronic communication between the camera and the lens is supported including image stabilization, aperture, camera program modes, and EXIF data generation. Canon makes many high quality lenses that are very useful for video work because they offer sharp focus across the image, beautiful bokeh, and very little vignetting.

It is best to plan on using the Canon lenses in manual focus mode with adapters. Technically, AF is a supported function but it operates too slowly to be practical. This updated version of the adapter has the black flocking on the inside to absorb reflections, and the wider internal opening to facilitates the use of tilt-shift lenses. It also has a tripod mount which is very useful when mounting a mirrorless camera to a tripod or stabilizer.
